After I receive my card, do I get a prescription for low-THC cannabis oil or where can I purchase cannabis oil in Georgia ?No. There is currently no provision in Georgia law for prescribing, buying, selling or manufacturing Low-THC Oil, or cannabis in any form. The law simply provides for the possession and usage of Low-THC Oil…..it does not make the sale or possession of any other type of cannabis or marijuana legal in Georgia. Possession of any form of marijuana by an unauthorized person is still a violation of state and federal law. This should change shortly with six companies who won grow licenses in Georgia the details are currently being worked out in court now and written into law. Cannabis dispensaries will also be available state wide shortly as well. We ask everyone to contact Holistic Hemp Ga for all products. We have worked with Holistic Hemp Ga and believe in their quality formulated products.

I found another verifying physician for cannabis cards closer to my home, can I transfer my records to this physician? At the present time, the State of Georgia has no official provision for transferring to a new certifying doctor. Additionally, if changing to a new certifying doctor, your new physician will need to re-submit your application as a new application. That is, your Georgia Low THC Oil Card is tied to your certifying doctor and may not be renewed by another doctor. A new application will need to be submitted.
